Chris Wright.
I design complex SaaS products across B2B and B2C environments — with a focus on design systems, multi-platform portals and operational tools.
Over the last eight years, I’ve led design inside cross-functional teams at Ohme, Marcura, Better, Sea, and Travelex, bringing structure and clarity to products with deep domain logic and real operational complexity.
I’m particularly interested in design systems as infrastructure, AI-enhanced design workflows, and the kind of research that shapes product direction — not just validates it.

Chris and I both worked at Trussle as the business rebranded to Better.co.uk. Chris was an invaluable partner as – both relatively new to the business at the same time – we needed to quickly deliver on work for now, next, and build a roadmap for ‘later’.
Chris is very easy to build a strong relationship with – both with myself as a Product Manager but also with the engineering team and senior stakeholders across the business, and very quickly established himself as a subject matter expert on all things Design and UX. Delivering to often incredibly tight timescales, Chris was hands on with the team, driving intent, creating designs, and providing assets at incredible pace without any impact on quality.
Two projects really stand out in our time together. Firstly we were tasked with assessing the current User Testing capabilities and recommending next steps. Chris was instrumental in identifying partners here, driving demonstrations and asking the key questions that led to a significant investment by the business as Chris was able to articulate the benefit and application of the tooling to key decision makers. This set the business up with the capability to drive action based on insight.
Secondly,the business made the decision to entirely rebrand the customer facing proposition, and we were given incredibly tight timelines of delivery. Chris as the Design Lead on this project – and for a long period of time the sole resource in this space – turned around a new design system in an incredibly short period of time through working with US based colleagues, and researching best practice. The result was a coherent and elegant design system and new process without which we wouldn’t have been able to turn around the rebrand in the timescales given.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris to anyone looking for an expert in his field, and hope our professional paths cross again in the future.
